Hey all.. So i installed the battery and starter on my car as it is just about to the point i need to fire it and break the engine in..well heres my problem i have lights and such but no crank...bear with me here..from my battery i have the batt cable to the post on the starter and the wire thats intergrated to the batt cable running to the alt..now from the car there are two wires run into one large ring terminal that i also have bolted onto the starter with the battery cable and the purple signal wire is attached to the solenoid properly..also the battery ground cable is grounded to the engine and the smaller one to the side below the fender next to the battery..now heres where i get lost..there is one wire coming from the car to the engine bay that go to the plug for the alt (obviously plug into the alt) but one of them comes out of said plug and also has a ring terminal on it (for the guage?)....and there is an additonal ground strap from the back of the engine to the firewall.....i know its hard to imagine without pics but my car is not at my house so im not currently able to take them.....Any ideas also this is an 86 Z28..orig 305 carbd car now has larger carbed SBC
