Vats problems

So my vats has been giving me issues once In a while. So yesterday went to start my 2002 ws6 nothing all lights come on no crank I tried the resistor bypass still nothing. Is it the bcm ? Thanks in advance

power at the starter? starter crank wire?

I didint check the starter wires to see of there getting juice . i just checked them out to see if there still good they still look bran new. My security light flashes 3 times so I'm thinking vats and correct me if I'm wrong the vats kills the signal to the starter?

An another question can I completely tune the vats system out? I've heard yes and no on it and can I just put a push button start on it. Sorry I'm not used to this computer crap

I put a push button start in when I started having VATS problems. I still have to have the key to put it in "run," but as long as I don't try to start it with the key it runs. No tuning or anything. I haven't had a single problem since.

Thanks . Ill keep all that in mind when it dose go out. I don't know why my security light would flash and stay on, I pulled the starter and tested it dead slapped a new one in fired right up.
