  • 95 z28 interior wiring

I have a 95 camaro with the lt1 that we stripped for a drag car. What electrical on the interior is necessary and what can be removed? Thanks for the help.

I don't know if anyone has ever gone through the wiring harness to really see what can and can't be stripped. I personally always cringe at the thought of doing that because if you go through and cut a bunch of wires away to lighten the harness, if you go to start the car and have some weird electrical issue you'll have one hell of a time trying to troubleshoot which wire was cut that shouldn't have been.

That said - I think your best bet would be to figure out what plugs go where on the interior harness and then trace them back to cut what you don't want. IE you probably wouldn't need wiring for power mirrors, power seats, radio, etc
