need help have ignition control issues ????

went to get my 95 383 stroker dyno tuned today from the build I had done last fall .. it was stored all winter till I could get the computer programed from running like crap.. and they couldn't dyno it cuz of the computer keep throwing ignition control codes ..they said it might be a ground or wiring issue which I have no clue how to trace back... or the opti could be bad .. which it was brand new but been sittin for 2 years in a box till I had the car redone.. I bought the car as a roller and had my mechanic friend put it all back together and all the wiring as well
since it has things from other year lt1's I don't know if that matters.. here is what is done:
93 block... the car and computer is a 95
opti has been switched to a 95 up vented style and has a msd distributor and coil idk know if that matters or not the coil has the 2 plug coil

yes it seems to run fine.. just sometime when I try to start it .. it will start or act like it starts but don't till I try again and keep turning it over till it fires.. kinda like the old carbureted motors but it don't die when its running.. I thought it was from the injectors dumping to much fuel into the car but they did get that straightened out but still wants to start the same way like it will burp like its started but don't.. then when I turn it over again and crank it for like 10 seconds it starts and runs fun
