Guys, i need a little help please!
Hey everyone, i just have a quick question. My 94 Z28 is a transplant just to give you some history. It has a 6 cylinder VIN# but a 4 bolt main 95 lt1 in her. I was trying to get my remote for keyless entry to work so i removed the passenger kick panel to get to the keyless module. Here is where i have a question...Is there any reason why someone would have unplugged the factory keyless plugs and ran new ones? In other words, someone unplugged the factory plugs from the keyless module and plugged in different ones....This makes no sense to me so im hoping someone can give me some ideas. When i got the car they had installed an aftermarket keyless entry system and cut and spliced the power locks on both doors. I ordered a factory FOB and would like to eleminate the aftermarket junk and go back to original.....Would this be possible and if so, how would i go about it? Thanks again!.....
