  • 1994 Camaro V6 to LT1 wiring harness question

Hey everyone, can anyone tell me what if any difference there is between the V6 harness and the LT1 harness? I know there is differences in the motor harness due to the sensors etc, but I am trying to figure out what is wrong with my wiring. I'm having some issues with o2 sensor plugins especially.....I plugged in my passenger side o2 sensor and as soon as I hit the ignition it smoked. It didn't hurt anything but it obviously was not correct. On the driver side I can't even find the o2 plugin in the harness.....I have looked everywhere and I am thinking maybe someone cut it off?? Anyways, can anyone tell me where to look to find the info I need to straighten up my wiring? One last thing....would it be better to just replace the motor compartment harness and the dash harness if it has been cut up or is it fixable?
    Thanks,
    Stephen

Won't be able to help you too much for a couple weeks when I'm back home, but if you go to Shbox.com they have wiring diagrams for the different connectors in the engine bay and PCM and you'd have to flip back and forth between the two to figure out what the wiring differences are.
