aftermarket fuel pump

ok so i was on ws6store and i was looking at fuel pumps becuase mine went out and i need a new one so i seen that they sell a wiring harness to do i need that or can i get away with just using my factory harness?

From what I understand, the Racetronix harness is highly recommended but if you're just trying to replace without upgrading then just get the pump and no harness. The harness helps give more consistent fuel pressure I think? It's good to have, especially in a car with more than just bolt-ons

yea my thought was im not forced induction or im not over 500hp so i dont think i would be that big of a deal but just trying to get some input

Do yourself a favor and pick up the hotwire kit even if you're just replacing the pump with another stock pump. The stock wiring is a weak point and inadequate in supplying power to the pump. Not enough juice, not enough fuel flow, poor performance. They're not that expensive ($75-100) and its cheap insurance especially if you do upgrade the pump in the future.
