I agree with the previous statments about staying away from Optima, I am not a fan of there 3 year warrenty.
I recommend Interstate, its what I have in my Chevelle.
Delco batteries go up and down in quality
I should be able to save you money on any of the above batteries.

The better question is why does Brent need a battery?

      bmr mount? sealed box?

Ditto that! I have personally seen many brand new Optima's go bad very quickly. Get an AC Delco.

Interstate! Best Battery on the market by far IMHO.

Diehard Platinum if you wanna be a pimp without going to a lightweight battery. For the most part I buy based on warranty. Have one of the "high end" Meijer brand batteries in my Trans-Am. 3 year replacement warranty, 84 months pro-rated, and best of all in the local area there's a ton of Meijer stores so a replacement is never far. Looks identical to an AC Delco too, I've heard it speculated that it could be the same battery with a different label. No funky colors either, just a plain-jane black battery.

It may sound crazy- but the Everstart batteries from Walmart are rated highest of all brands from consumer reports. I had one in my s10 a few years ago and it never let me down.

              HEI distributors are pointless.

i believe Everstart batteries are made by Exide, known to be a decent battery
