Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

Get vette o2's. Ive tried factory ones with extensions, ive tried extending the factory ones (a different set), and after screwing around with problems with them not switching I bought a set of vette rear o2's, solved all my problems and fit good.
Oxygen sensors should be matched to the PCM. The voltage range delivered by the 02 sensor to the PCM's table will be wrong if you swap in a different 02 sensor than what the PCM expects to see.
This could lead to inaccurate readings and a dangerously rich/lean condition depending on how much the voltages are off.
If you do swap - make sure you compare the reference tables within the PCM.
I kept my 5.3L sensors on the 6.0L so that the PCM voltage reference points were the same - one less worry.
AC Delco is the only brand O2 sensor I will buy as I have not had luck with Bosch 02 Sensors.
I shop on Amazon for my sensors as they are cheaper.
AC Delco O2 sensors underwent a change. The old sensors had a thick large round body. The new sensors have more of a narrow almost hour glass shape.
This is an easy visual way to verify if they have been changed in the last 3 years.
They should be changed every 100K Miles.
The Front Oxygen sensors are what the PCM uses to adjust Air/Fuel ratio.
The Rear Oxygen sensors (Post CAT) are used as reference only, and many tuners shut the rear off because they are only used as a "Sanity" check for the PCM.
I would provide a part number, but need to verify what PCM you are using, and what engine it originally powered.

I run Bosch vette rears, never had an issue and they have been on the car for about 5-6 years, the harness is longer already too so no need for any extensions.
