If your ignition system checks out fine, I would look into a MAP or Crank posistion.
        Do you have an SES?

A car could run with a bad ICM.
On my 2001, the portion of the ICM which controled 2 cylinder failed and was cauing it to run on 4 cylinders.

well if there is arcing when your spraying stuff obviously there is a open wire. when its dark tonight run the car and mist and i mean mist the wires and watch for arcing. youll atleast determine which one it is and they all should be replaced and if im wrong youll find the open wire somewhere which if isnt causing an issue it should be addressed.
