I checked the fuel pressure. It maintained good pressure but i did notice it also jumped a little when i hit the gas. Not sure if thats normal or not? I could see cause for concern if the pressure dipped in those circumstances.-Joel

I would still watch the coil-packs, they seem to be flaky and i've seen my buddy have multiple failures on his 3.8 firebird. Sorry to hear about more issues, good luck.sigpicMODS: SLP DUAL/DUAL EXHAUST, 160 STAT, MTI LID, SHANER S3 T.B., SMOOTH BELLOWS, DESCREENED MAF, TUNNEL BRACE, UMI SFC & PHB, STRANO SWAY BARS, DRILLED/SLOTTED ROTORS, WHISTLER LIGHTS, BLACK BILLET GRILLE w/69'SS EMBLEM, BLACK SMOOTHED TAIL PANEL w/69'SS EMBLEM, BLACK SS HOOD INSERT, INTIMIDATOR SS WHEELS.

Yep that was an idea i had last night larry. Im going to run the car in the garage with the doors closed and see if i can pinpoint anything. I can stand under the car and look at the plugs as well.
Yep I personally think it is one of three things. A bad coil, bad spark plug, or a bad ICM.Originally posted by 97rs4life View Postsounds like a bad coil to me.Last edited by JoeliusZ28; May 4th, 2011, 10:08 AM.-Joel

It should be, like a couple people on here and my dad said, going to try the coil pack and ignition module first. Just pull them off the buick and if it makes a difference, well I am all set!!
