Anybody used a Battery Tender (trickle charger)? Thinking about getting one and wanted to know if anybody had anything to say about them good or bad. Thanks.

Yup - Angie's car and my car are both on trickle chargers. Creight has been selling one - the Battery Tender Jr - that a lot of people on here seem to use. I'm about due for buying a trickle charger but I want to get one that's a charger and starter - nothing is more frustrating than going to start the car and the battery is dead to the point that the ignition doesn't do ANYTHING (no lights, no fuel pump, no relays, nothing) and having to trickle charge it for a few hours before you can start it.- Brian Meissen

I have the battery tender, used it on the Camaro last year for a bit and seemed to work fine

I bought my dad two for christmas. Every review I read had nothing but good things to say. I bought him the normal tender. I am going to pick one up for myself for the camaro. Amazon, $46.sigpicAnd another thing.....when I gun the motor, I want the whole world to think it's coming to an end.

i use one on my battery and there isnt even a motor in the car lol. for real though ive always used one since ive had my bird and have never had a problem firing the car up whenever and i dont even have a real expensive battery in the car. need to upgrade soon thoughsigpic
