Disfunctional Radiator Fan...

I was wondering if any of you guys have experienced the same problem I am having with my Camaro. The radiator fan has not been functional for a long while. I have hooked the fan directly to the battery, and it worked. I have also tested all of the relays, by switching them to the fog light socket, and they all work properly. So the only thing that I believe could be wrong with the car is something electrical. Hopefully, it's just a bad sensor, because that would be my easiest fix. I'm just not really sure what sensor it would be, and where to look for it. Any knowledge/opinions/advice would be greatly appreciated on the matter.

Does the fan come on when you turn the air conditioning on max?

Sorry, I forgot to mention that the A/C fan works whenever I turn the A/C or defrost on... so sometimes I use that if I'm in bad traffic.

We had a car before that the fan wouldn't turn on either. Found out the it and the cigarette lighter where on the same circuit it it was all rusted. Unhooked it and the fan worked perfectly.

there are 2 sensors, on the LT1 engine its the one on the water pump that turns on the fan. (2 wires) the one on the cylinder head operates the gauge. (1 wire) Probably same setup on the 3800 engine.

so just replace that sensor?
