  • battery move...

    all right gents i want to move my battery to the back on the car is there a place where i can order a kit to do so or should i just wing it.

    Both Summit racing and JEGS sells universal trunk mount kits (cables, box, straps, hold downs, etc.) - from personal experiance the plastic box they provide doesn't fit well in our rear finder area. I believe BMR sells a metal tray to hang off the frame rail back there thats a much better fit and looks a helluva lot better.
    Word of advise, since your going to be running a lot longer positive cable from the battery this way, go with a 1-0 gauge cable.

      lead acid requires a sealed box.
      if you plan on going to the strip you are required to have a external kill switch also

                i well prob go with 1-0 gauge just to play it safe
