Need Switch Panel Ideas

I'm looking for some ideas for mounting a switch panel. I was thinking of mounting an overhead console that I have laying around, but I'm entertaining other ideas now. . . I may still go that route, but I'd like some input as to what works.

I'd like switches for at least 3 devices, including electric fan on/off and the e-cutout, as well as another little secret I'm keeping to myself. . . I've been looking at some 4-switch panels, including the ARC-4000 touch-panel that I thought was pretty cool, but I wanted to see what you guys had that you would recommend. I would like the switches to be easily accessible, but I want the install to look clean as well.

Any ideas? Pics would be great, I didn't find much in a google image search that I liked.

I have the Jimmy Jams ash tray plate and love it. Toggle switches and a momentary switch. It works great - I have the momentary switch hooked up as the recalibration switch for my LC-1 wideband, one of the toggle switches is being used for the ON/OFF for the CarPC, one toggle switch for my headlight wig wags, and the other one is still empty.

Understood B. Just letting him know where the info was attained from, that way if he wanted to research it further, that would be the best place to start.

I've been thinking about relocating my radio to the glovebox so I can use that space for a switchplate, though it seems unnecessary as I'll only have ~4 switches. Probably make my own ashtray plate.

After LS1Tech was sold a couple of years ago, I stopped going there. This is pretty much the only forum I'm active on, and if I need more specific advice or information, I'll check out speeddensity.org or ltxtech.com. That's why I didn't search LS1Tech. Too much drama over there. Not to mention, the mods are generally on a power trip, with a stricter "Zero Tolerance" policy than the Army has regarding anything, really.

I was trying to stay away from a hidden switch panel, I kind of want to do something different, and it seems that everyone and their brother has switches hidden in the ashtray, but some of those installs look clean, so I'll have to re-think my reasons.

There was a guy on camaroz28 I think or maybe tech. He had a switches next to his power buttons for the seats. I thought it was pretty sweet and look damn clean to me.

don't know if helps but heres mine (middle of changing ashtray and my new shifter handle also has linelock button)swithes are trans fan switch,rad fan switch and tcs power (tcs always off no more making sure it off when getting in)

Where'd you get that shifter? I'm looking for one with a button on it like that, and that's something like what I'm looking for.

it was out of a grand prix or grand am and thats a traction button (labeled and wired for my linelock) its off car right now and won't be putting back on(new shifter handle is going in).See your in service and you can have shifter and boot (I'll even pay for shipping in states) but maybe you'll like new handle it also has button and more of a pistol grip i'll pm you a pic.
