After driving back to Ferndale from Dearborn today, I found that when I went to exit my 2002 Camaro V6 vert, the fog lamps & tail lamps stayed on even though the ignition was off - does this sound like a bad headlamp switch or do I have a different issue? For now, the car is sitting with the battery cable disconnected.

Truth be told, I'd have to go check it to see if the fog lamp switch would have an effect on this. I was concentrating on the headlamp switch primarily because I was getting the "headlamps-on" chime from the car, yet the headlamp switch had no effect on the fog, parking/turn, or tail lamps.Originally posted by 1BADAIR View Postdo the fog lights turn off with the fog light switch?
my car flashes the fogs(if switch is on) and tails upon lock/unlock
may be a securtiy/bcm issue
Yes, normally the car will flash the fogs and tail lamps once when the alarm is set from the key fob.

Check the door open switch. I believe your lights stay on till you open the door.sigpic
