  • Need some help finding a connector

I will be doing alot of wiring, moving my PCM inside, and moving my fusebox inside... Im looking for a connector setup that looks like what I drew up on paint below... I want there to be a "middle piece" So i do have to run all of the wiring through the firewall, I can just twist and remove. I dont remember off hand, what the largest gauge there is, but that needs to be considered.

    Thanks for your help.

The blue is obviously the wiring/connector, the black is the middle connector, that attaches to the firewall..

I want to be able to disconnect the wires at the firewall,

I want an actual connector, so I dont have to pull all the wires through the firewall.

Wow...a modular cable setup will be pretty awesome.

I have no idea where to find a connector like that - but if you do, that'll be really cool!

Never seen anything available to the consumer that would accomplish that, but I'm going to keep checking this thread to see.

You need to count the # of wires for the plug size, it might have to be 2 plugs because of the wire size going to the fuse box, its like 8-10 gauge. You might have to settle for only one side unplugs the other bolts to firewall but that will still accomplish what you want. Try an electrical supply store they should be able to order what you want, be ready to bend over it won't be cheap.

the one i was talking about you dont have to pull wires through the FOD but...
the connector style you are looking for is called a Bulkhead connector. All over google

That would be fine, I originally was thinking about something like what you said, but then I decided why not have connectors on both side.
