About to buy a tuner!

I just recently purchase tuning software. I'm not going to plug a certian co. or tuning school. Just yesterday I wraped up my ls6 stage 2.5 heads injectors and Z06 MAF. The absolute first time I opened the tuning software I tuned my injectors, MAF, torpue tables, adjusted idle per coolant temp and I won't list everything else I did. Now I am going to delve into maf and ve tuning. Now this part is very detailed and drawed out but it is doable for anyone. My point, if you purchase tuning software do yourself a favor and order some kind of at home schooling that works with your software. You will absolutly not regret this move. Yes it is expensive but well worth the price of admission.

agree fully. did you tweak your power enrichiment at all? ive found there is serious potential with that one.

Eventually I want to learn how to use a program liike HP Tuners but right now I am stuck with acient technology with a mechanical stuff.(distrubitor/ carb). What tuning software did you buy?

HP tuner Pro and sanner and lm1, the whole package was from the #$&&%%** school. And I have not done th pe yet. Tommorow morning I am installing the lm1 and then I will dive into the PE, MAF and VE tables. However is there is one little hitch with PE enrichment rate My table is real funky looking compared to whats in the manual. Ian at (the 89945952 school) will straigten me out on.

Yes It is Greg and Yes It was damn expensive. But I just want to be able to everything myself so that I know it is right. I paid for my first tune and I got a WOT tune and a little timing advance that was it for 600.00. I went back a few times but he was insisting on me taking off my aftermarket throttle body. I agreed to taking the 85 mm MAF when he tuned it first. I want to run the parts I choose and not what he can tune for. I don't want to sound overbearing or anything but can you see where I am coming from.
