  • MSD 6AL and Blaster coil worth it?

    i was offered to buy an MSD 6AL and Blaster coil for $100 used. I was wondering if anyone has installed these and has noticed a gain in performance?

    i will be installing these into a 94 chevy k1500 with a 5.7 in er
    98 NBM Z28 A4 Cam ONLY 11.94 at 113 1.7 60'
    233/239 .598/.603 113 LSA tuned by me, 3500 TCI SSF

    I would, should add 4-5inches of lift...

      im not the one spending the money on the truck...
      i focus on ashleys truck here at school because we have access to a niiiice garage.
      lol it should add about 4-5 inches of lift.... pulling the front wheels off the ground

        dont mess with that TBI. Those suckers are designed to be dead nuts reliable and thats it. Doing anything other than maintenance to that engine is just going to disappoint you. If you want any kind of horsepower in that truck, swap it out.
