You will need the passport sensor or go to shbox.com and get the key sense bypass for your firebird. didn't notice range though most say 350-500 ft. Maybe I missed it.Are you going to install it your self.
Edit: went back and looked said 2500 ft range so thats good.sigpic

i would assume that i would need the passport sensor because it came with a factory keyless entry, correct? cuz i know nothing
! which probley answers the install question. unless derek is willing to waste a night with me doing it if he knows how, i'll probley end up taking it to best buy for the install. i may have a few other friends who could help tho.

I would love a viper! if you could find me one with all the stuff i wanted for about $180 i would buy it in a heart beat! but considering the basic alarms that i found from viper were way more then that, i think i have to look elsewhere

I think you would do better to buy it where they will install it.sigpic

Fixed it for you derek, i think its what you ment to say! I would just like one really, not for any special reason. so i figured while i was at it i would throw in the keyless entry and remote start. Don't you have an alarm? cuz if you think that way about your car, i wouldn't even lock it up while you got it sittin in that garage behind the shop!Originally posted by redfbird99 View PostI wouldnt even know where to begin to install the alarm brian. You should get one! Everyone is tryin steal your car in allendale! lol

Code-Alarm.
I had one in my Camaro, and have one in my Cobalt. My dad has one in his truck.
All of them had car starts, and aren't horribly expensive (well, when you get them for cost, they're not).Gone but not forgotten: 1986 Chevrolet Camaro IROC-Z
