A loose rule to go by is every 100hp you add over stock you should be going a heat range colder in the plug.

A TR-55 is the equivalent to a stock heat range plug. If you had a cammed car and you were looking to spray say a 150 shot I wouldn't hesitate to use a 7 heat range plug.

You got it, I'm currently saving for a 9" and hoping I have one by next spring but only time will tell. If I have to I'll just buy a 10 bolt for a couple hundred $ just to hit the track a few times.

I just put a 9" in mine before I took it to NO E.T. All I have to do to it is change to the LSx PCM to get rid of my failing opti. Other than that it will stay exactly the same
