alright so i took my car to the race track yesterday. first time i've ran it. It ran a best of 12.97. @108. but somewhere between 4800 -5500 rpms it cuts out. i think it has more potential if i can shift @ a higher rpm. me and my buddy were talking and we both agree that it's probably the cheapo hei distributor. anyone else had similar issues? I have a msd 6a box i haven't installed yet and i plan on it. will this maybe cure the issue, or will i need a new distributor. any ideas.
