Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

Relocating battery to the spare tire area, bought a terminal block for under the hood and a fuse to put in the wiring, 200 amp I believe. Should I go with the BMR mount even though it won't be nhra legal? Most tracks wouldn't check anyways. If they do I go dry cell. Should I use 1 gage wire? Also what are my choices in kill switches? Anyone have any pics of a 4th gen relocated??
Well, I heard 1 gage is best, there is a wire kit 2 gage on ebay... How much a diff can it make? When I do it, it will be a info thread with pics and details...
first of alll according to the nhra you have to have a sealed box vented with a tube out side the chassis if you look at my pics you can see it i have the moroso plastic box and it sits in the rear well than i ran 1/0 up the right side of the car and to make things easier i have it going to a ford starter relay tie the purple wire to the small pin on the relay and other starter leads to one of the big studs and the other stud run one cable to starter than you just tie the starter leads together the ford relay sits up on the firewall higher so its easy to bump motor over to lash the valves the whole thing is a win win
