    like i said im running the ls1 pcm now and it runs great with no problems. I highly recommended. The ltcc still uses the opti and ur still prone to opti problems.

      optis were just a dumb, fault-prone design by gm. I dohave good oil pressure in the car tho, so thats not an issue. and i know the pump is a pain in the ass, another dumb design...i mean c'mon guys put a door in the trunk like every other god damn car. but w.e just more fun that comes with an LT1 F-body

        Optis were a great design if not one of the best. Only fault is the location. Very prone to failing from moisture. U can easly access the pump if u just cut a hole in the truck. It wont make a difference in support. Just use a piece of sheet metal to cover it back up.
