hey everyone well i drive a 96 camaro rs with the 3.8

when i start the car it seems to need to warm up because if i step on the gas right when i start it up it misses and runs bad but once it warms up its fine

but back when my didnt move i let idle for a while while i was workin on my audio stuff it would misfire after about a half hour or so

also in the rain if i drive long enough in it it will misfire terribly i have a k and n intake that i think might be sucking in water i dont have an o2 sensor i am wondering if i need to replace coils spark plugs spark plug wires not sure any help would be nice

    thanks
    ryan

I would check the plug wires and make sure you don't have one or more arcing or burnt.

If you can check the spark make sure you are getting a nice white/blue spark and not a orange/yellow spark.

Those are classic o2 sensor problems. You said you don't have 02's did you delete them and reprogram ecu? or just remove and plugs.
      I would :
      1. check plug wires as someone stated.
      2. Check plugs.
      3. deal with 02 sensors. Depends on how their deleted.

i think i just removed them for the exhaust or the cold air intake it runs better without them i never messed with the computer though so unsure of what to do

Good luck, I see lots of stock 5.7L intakes but last time i seen one of those big ugly 3.8's for sale was awhile ago.

My 3.8l had your problem and my car looked like yours it was my mass air flow sensor

what o2 sensors did you remove???? the ones before the cat??!??!?! Put them back in now! w/o it, it will just run open loop. And spray some water at the wires at night and look for sparks
