This popped up last night while cruising around, 75% sure it could be the alternator. I just got the new alternator in two weeks ago but who knows.

Well took the belt off and everything and its not the alternator, sounds like its coming around the area of the head, but it sounds like its outside of the engine. Maybe you're right about the AC Compressor. On Wednesday I'm bringing it to an Uncle's friend that worked for a dealership for 15 years and see if he can diagnose it.Comment

Did you check the belt over real good almost sounds like a belt fragment hitting something. Also belt tensioner bearing will do strange noises.sigpic
