My hatch latch button won't work with the car running but when I shut it off the button works just fine?

As long as you are in park it should work for an auto mine being a manual I only have to engage the E-Brake.sigpic

Oh a thirdgen! Like mine then all you should have to do is engage the e-brake. But I will say as the older our cars get they do some weird things from time to time!sigpic
