optispark&waterpump

Does anyone know where i can get a quality optispark for a relatively inexpensive price? and where can i pick up a delco water pump or should i just go the electric route?

quality and inexspensive dont go together i bought 2 different optisparks from autozone both were defective and i finally got quality and went with an msd and am very happy with it $515 compared to like $350 so take your pic

Thanks Mike, it was on ls1lt1.com. Opti Summit with 2000 miles on it for 50.00 obo. Damn good deal, wonder how his motor blew though. Does anybody know where I can pick up an AC Delco pump? Cant seem to find any at parts stores though.

if you have to have an AC Delco then go to dealer, all the auto parts places have different brands and rebuilt ones.

I know these cars love Delco parts, would just a parts store water pump be just as good. My buddy had 3 diff rebuilt ones from autozone crap out in his lt1 vette. Would a new one thats not delco be just as good? Not to picky hear just don't want junk parts.

Go with a delco or a msd optispark. For the price you cant beat the quality. And wont have to worry about replacing it.

AC Delco parts are built by many different suppliers, and I am not knocking their brand name. Over the years I have used many parts and I'm sure Creigt has different selection choices. I usually pick middle to high end choice with longer warrenty. I have always had good luck with doing that.

You just have to find an AC Delco distributor. There is one in Flint called Brown & Sons that we use at work.
