ok so i just put one of these in my car in the tank and now when i turn the ign on to try and start it the fuel pump turns on but pulsates instead of having a constant buzz to it. if it just trying to build pressure or is there something wrong?

did you upgrade your fuel pump wiring? before I put my aftermarket wiring harness on it the pump sometimes pulsated and the car would stumble

yeah it has its own wire going to the fuel pump now instead of the stock wire going to it

Mine makes all kinds of racket too at first if the car has sat for a long period of time on a low tank level. I think the fuel eventually drains back out of the line/rails and the pump cavitates when it hits the air pockets as it's filling the line/rail back up.

I have an inline 255, hope the intank pump pumps more then the inline? Mine only flows enough for a 100 shot dude.. Make sure they check your fuel flow before you just put a 150 pill in.. Hate to see ya go lean!!

As far as pulsating, no issues with the inline..

hmm that pulsating is weird, i put a walbro in my old v6 and it hooked up right to my stock setup and ran perfect, then again thats a wholllllleee different ballgame.

You have a bypass regulator right? Mine does the same thing....makes clicking/thunking noises when it bypass fuel.

Does your pump make the pulsating noise all the time or just when you first turn on the key?
