Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

About a week ago I was driving at night and the odometer got very very dim, we are talking if it is daylight out you can't see the miles at all, but at night you can make out the numbers but is hard to see. Is there some kind of back light for these red digital numbers or is there something else that maybe wrong???? If there is a thread about this I would like to see it.
wires came loose hahaha there are no wires in a cluster, its all circuit board.
odds are the backlite for the lcd went bad. we send our clusters that come in for repair to a company called AJR International. we dont do to many on site repairs because we are just to busy with everything else going on during the workday

theres a Plug in wire in the back dude.
He said none are working so i figured the main was loose.
id say first thing... I know this is stupid, but next to your manual light switch, make sure the dial wheel to the right is pushed up. when I first got my truck I was like why did this happen? then I realized there was a dial lol and it had slipped down.... probably not that but always worth checking the obvious before you rip things apart!

That is the first thing that I checked, I should add that all the other lights work just not the Odometer one, also when it started to go it went off for the day then it came back on for a day then gone... well it is something that is going to wait till spring because there is no way I am going to work on that while it is cold, Maybe if we have a nice day I will rip it apart and look at it....

I never touch that dial or switch. I hope I don't have that issue....

I would think it's just a bulb that's burnt out. If one bulb goes, a majority of the gauge cluster will look dim because there's only 3-4 bulbs spread across the whole cluster. Is there a noticable difference from left to right in the gauge cluster's brightness? If you can see a specific dim spot, then yeah it's a burnt out bulb.
