Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

the wire that i am holding is suposed to go to the starter? if so what kind of starter do i have to buy to plug that into the starter because i can not find anything that plug would fit.
oh and a different battery didnt work and the jumper cable ground idea didnt work
honestly dude.. I have no idea.. Your entire wiring looks completely hacked up.. theres electrical tape covering bare copper wire.... Theres a chance that wire could go to your distributor.. who knows man.. its damn near impossible to diagnose things over the net.
thats what i thought but i dont know. well i went threw every wire in the engine bay tonight and all of the wires under the dash and stuff and there are no other wires that i can find that are melted so i cant see there any wires being shorted out. is there any other possibility of what the problem can be. also do i need the computer for my car or what all does it run i dont have ac and everything under the hood is older style.
well my nieghbor came up with the conclusion that the negitive battery cable is not grounding to the engine enough so all of the juice is overloading the wire going to the frame. does that make sence and sound possible.
problem fixed. my nieghbor was right it wasent grounding to the engine enough so i moved the cable to a different spot and it seems to be working fine. so i will get a new cable and move on to the next problem.
thank you for all your help
glad to hear you fixed it. for some one with no electical background it can be very hard to figure out. i would recomend picking up a book on electric laws or automotive wireing. it would help alot in the future
