    i need to know if anyone can give me a ball park estimate price for my car to be rewired by a business or if someone can come over and rewire it ethier way can i get an estimate or do i need to start calling around. i am having the ac and a few other things removed. it is a 1983 camaro carburated with no ac.

    all depends on what for sure needs to be rewired and things like that... honestly i would do it your self.. you might think its difficult but in actuality its very easy.

      i think that is part of the problem i have been trying to fix it myself and it seems to be worse than when i started

          american auto wire highway-22 kit and another 300 or 400 in misc bits....

          i just rewired one of my syclones. ditched 100% of the factory wiring. its not "hard" its just time consuming and you have to plan ahead. think about routing, where you will go through the firewall, etc.

          if you paid someone... to do a really nice job. its gonna be a few grand, i would guess. i had a pro shop quote me.. it was around 4k (EFI, etc).

              well i figured out tonight the only things that works is the power windows and the light you click on above your head. so how much would one of you guys charge to come over and help me rewire my whole car i will get all of the wires and all of the connecters. but were can i get a new fuse box because the one i have is mutilated.

                how about how much would some one charge to help me rewire the engine bay. also who has a fuse box i could buy.

                    we do it at my work, we actually have a $100k 1957 Ford that came in after paint for a complete wire job, its gunna cost the guy about $2-3k.

                      i was wondering if anybody on the site would be willing to come out and help if i paid them. i just dont dare do it myself becaause i dont understand the wires and the gauges of wire and stuff like that. but i am willing to pay someone to come out and help as long as we get it done. right now i am worried about the engine compartment. it's v8 carbed.
