I replaced my lights for the hvac, a4 shifter, and speedo in my 97 z/28 with blue leds. I let a friend burrow the car to run an errand and he said they went out randomly while he was driving it.
The leds are wired off the same circuit that that you can dim with the dimmer to the left of the steering wheel.
The ironic part is they turn on just fine when i hit my unlock or lock button on my key fob.
I don't have tools with me at school to take everything apart but honestly i can't figure out why this would happen. Why do they work when i hit the keyfob but not when the car is running?
