Another tail light question

If any one has any ideas let me know.

When I press on the brakes, my middle light lights up. But the regular brake lights do not.

Also it does this on and off. Not all the time.
LOL.....when a cop follows me, I say a prayer "please work brake lights please work" LOL!!!!

I haven't really looked at it. But I did think it was the button under the brake pedal. Bought a new one, and still does the same thing.
Then I thought.....well if the center brake light comes on....it has to be something different.

check out your sockets... they may be going bad.. mine used to do the same thig on the right hand side... replaced the socket and it works

Thanks, I'll check both sides out. My tail lights have to come out when I paint the car. So I'll look at everything close at that time.

With it being both taillights it makes it Sound like a taillight harness connection problem. Might be some corrosion in there or a broken wire.

yeah could be that too. Just seems funny that the middle one works ALL the time.
And the regular ones work when they want to.

The rear spoilers coming off too....so I hope I can look at everything.

It has a seperate harness that plugs into the main harness.

BLA!!!!! Maybe I'll have to back track from the harness. Thats going to suck.
Well, if I have to gut the interior to find it so be it LOL!
