ecm/pcm custom tuning?

Does anyone know of anywhere in or near the Grand Rapids area that i could bring my computer to to get reprogrammed/tuned to accomadate modifications done? They aren't done yet but im trying to find somewhere now so i dont have to later. Also maybe somewhere that has a good price for the work they do. i found this place http://dtcc.cz28.com/eprom/index.htm in indiana but i would have to send my chip out to get reprogrammed and i dont know if they would do a good job or not being that they only charge $70 to do a custom tune on my computer chip. I have a 94 5.7 lt1 with OBD 1 so if anyone can think of anywhere or find a better place than this let me know.

i did a mail tune with texas-speed and they did a pretty good job for a good price.

Free from cjmatt sounds pretty good, but if you choose to go another way i can say that www.madtuner.com does a good job, i used them for my obd1 in my 94 z, they let you pick exactly what you want from when you want your fans to kick on to rev, speed limiters, A4 shift firmness, and speedometer calibration for diff. gear sizes or tires. Sounds like i'm advertising for them but i'm just happy with their work.

i would love free but i dont know if after im done with my car if it will even run good enough to bring to the M&G if so then i defiantly will. I think ill check out mad tuner and texas speed and see what they offer too. thanks

You wouldn't happen to have a Red 94 TA would you Patrick? I think I stopped by to help you out with some diagnostics. what ended up being the problem? I just remember you had a code 16. which is usually optispark problems.

But otherwise I have the equipment to reflash 94-95 F-bodys. they don't have chips you can pull you have to mail the entire computer to somebody.

Matt, yes i do have a red 94 TA and i stil dont know for sure if i figured out the problem or not yet but maybe, me and my buddy hooked it up to his scanner from work again and it came up with a optispark code again for the 3rd time. and we tested the connection so its not the connection which means that i had another defective distributor and or cap and rotor from autozone so i said screw it and took it back and ordered msd. But since my k member was all rotted out and i got another one i decided to replace it and while i have my motor out i might as well rebuild it and bore it to a 355 and why put it back in without doing headers and a cam swap so thats why i am going to need a tune after i finish everything. Justin said you could tune it for me once i got it running but i didnt even think about lol. If you can tune it for me that would be great ill let you know as soon as i get it done, it will probably be another month or so.
