  • Horn won't work

    It wwas working fine, then I armorall'd the dash and steering wheel and then it completely died. What do you think the problem is? and is it easily fixable? Thanks

    Check the fuse?

      What do you think caused it? Or was it just something that goes out after time?

        i had the same problem with my 89 formula. it didnt affect the way the car ran or anything so i didnt bother with it

                if its your fuse for the horn..the cig lighter wont work either.

                    If the fuse checks out okay, make sure the relay is working - have someone press the horn button, and listen under the hood for that lovely clicking noise.

                      make sur you got power going to the horn if you dont it may be like mentioned above, relay, fuse or connection on the horn

                      i had a newer car's horn go out after being 2 years old, the actual horn went bad 8-O lol a gm car too

                        yes check for power to the fuse relay horn. if you have all that see if there is power after the horn with the button pushed. if you do you have a bad ground. get a wireing diagram out of a service manual

                          the cigarrette lighter on the same circuit is correct.... I have blown mine several times because i have my cutout and a couple other things tapped into the cigarrette lighter.

                              So I tried honking at some dumbass that was just stopped in the middle of the road this morning. Guess what happened? The horn worked. So I don't know if it was just a temp thing or not. But it works for now.
