Hey guys I am looking for some help. I got a 02 camaro with stock engine and it was throwing p0343 high voltage cam code. I pulled the intake manifold and replaced the sensor as well as cleaned up some grim while i was in there (previous owner did not take car of the car). Well I replaced the sensor and intake gaskets etc, put all back together and now am getting code p0342 low voltage code.
So I take the intake back off, pull the sensor to make sure it is not contacting cam (its not), and cleaned up the connector, pulled the loom back and made sure the wire wasn't tore. Put it back together and still am getting the code.
The tach does not work when the code is present, if i clear the code the tach will come back on for a second and then zero out once code comes back on.
Any one got any advice, tips, tricks on what I should do next?
Lansing area if any is local.
Thank you in advance.
James
