  • Coolant Temp?

    Since i got the car my temp guage reads nothing. Today I replaced the coolant sensor and still nothin on the guage, anyone got any ideas?

    Same problem here. Except i know whats wrong with mine... My wires are junk and so is my connector.. Maybe look and trace the wires make sure they aren't cut...

      Yep, thats what I was thinking. Sounds like you get to pull apart your dash and check the wire connections. Ooo Fun... Not!

        my problems are all under the hood with the coolant dept... Thats were i need to crack into.

          im pretty sure this car has never been molested so i dont see how it could be the wiring. the connecters are like new, this car was stored in a heated garage for yearssss

            Thats just what it sounded like to me... Never know.. The car if its your 93, Is 15 years old... Its a possibility.. Wires fail all the time...There are newer cars that wires get junky... I would look and see if it is wiring first... Thats me, what i would do... Maybe the wire came in contact with something hot i mean it is in the engine bay... it could have gotten burned up and just not visible...

              My coolant gauge works - except it reads way too low. I don't think I've ever seen it make more than 1/4 of the way up the scale. My car does not run at 100* F...
