  • woot located my short.

Well i decided today over break i was going to start pulling out the rear interior to get ready for some por15.

The problem ive been having is i cant open my hatch do to a short that blows my fuse...

Well so i put a fuse in and noticed out of the corner of my eye smoke...

Smoke=bad.... So im like ok well ill take the rear defroster/cigarette lighter out..see if it works. Bam no more short... then plugged my rear defroster in.. And she works. now i know the short has to be when i plug the cigarette lighter in...

So now i just need to fix that problem so i can button the dash back together.

Eventually the whole inside of the car will be painted with it and the underside as well. Nice good old rust prevention..

Good thing to do. A lot of LT1 vehicles have rust forming on the floor pans I've noticed. Mine did, and I've talked to others that said theirs had small holes in the floor pans.

On my wife's old cutlass the radiator fan didn't work. Replaced the motor on it and nothing. Did some research and found out it was on the same circuit as the cig lighter which was pretty nasty looking. Unhooked it and bam! problem solved. Stupid cig lighters!!!!!
