  • HVAC Setting 1,2,3

Another problem here, my HVAC settings 1,2,3 don't work only the high does. and also my heat doesn't seem to be very hot. I switched in a brand new 180 degree thermo and it didn't make a difference. what would cause this? clogged heater core?

should be located on the side of the blower motor

          use a prestone kit

Is 180 the stock thermo? I've heard if you get a 160 your car doesn't get quite as hot and won't blow hot as stock.

no i think it had a 160 in it, but i replaced it with a new 180, which is supposed to be stock. someone said back flush the heater core..but how do i just flush the heater core? take off the hose heading into the core? is the prestone kit pressureized or something?

removed the hoses off the waterpump and used compressed air to blow it clear. heat is back and toasty, thanks for the help.
