I got a 350TPI engine with a chip right, what will it do if i put the chip for the 350TPI into the car with a 350TBI

    will it break anything?

It should go into "limp home" mode and run like $hit if it will even run at all.

The TBI and TPI use entirely different ecms and therefor the "chip" will not swap. TPIs use memcals and tbis use calpaks. Right? The 747 (TBI) ecm that I have doesnt have anything like a 165 or 730 TPI chip. Its just a little EPROM that sticks into the mainboard rather then a full on chip.

Could be, I've never even seen a TBI ECM upclose...thank god. So it becomes a physical impossibility as well....

Are the Cal files and the ecm config set-up on different chips then too?....Bah....why the hell do I care anymore....nevermind.
