  • The alarm goes off by it self

Ok lets see if you guys can help me her. I got a 99 TA and the alarm keeps on turning buy it self after I turn it on. I know there is a sensor on the right side of the back of the car. I already play with it but I still have problems.

your sensitivity might be messed up. look in the owners manual and see where you set that and redo it.

You've got the stock alarm? My viper went off like 10 times a night when I first got it. I think it was set so sensitive that even the wind would set off the motion sensors.

I have an aftermarket alarm. If I leave the reading lamps on inside the rear view mirror, it draws enough current to turn the alarm on after 5-10 minutes.
