    I had the joy of doing it one time. As the above poster said just made a creaking sound. But I stopped the second I realized it. Lol idiot moment for sure

          You guys are lucky to have a cover/boot for yours. When I bought my camaro the owner didn't have it and I can't afford one right now.

            I can personally tell you. The center piece flies off, hits the ground, and makes a hell of a lot of noise for a piece of plastic. Other than that, no blood, no foul.
