I know Pete and Jill have Sub Frame Connectors on their '97 30th anniversary SS. Sean@CARS installed them....I would say that they would certainly help out a lot on a noodley drop-top

            subframe conc.

They worked out great, the only ones that I found that I liked were from BMR weld on ones they were heavy rounded tuberal ones, not the flat thin ones. They can be seen on bmr site Sean welded them on for me he did a great job a lot of work they were coated, would buy them again. Pete

I just installed slp diamond style ones. They did absolutely nothing for me. I felt nothing different.

I do have aftermarket springs, shocks, swaybar combo though and i think that already eliminates a lot of the forces on the body anyways.

I put the BMR round tubes on my 02 SS. I also have the Extreme rear suspension. The car felt pretty good from the factory, but the subframe connectors made a noticeable difference. Talk to Lee@BMR.

Not true. UMI also has subframe connectors for 4th gen converts.

Although I have none Midwest Chassis SFC will be going on the vert. Cheaper and chromoly. Plus the owner of MWC has a vert and designed his vert ones really well
