    2500 rpm at 80 is actually pretty damn decent for a V6. My I6 is humming along at 3100, but then again it seems much happier running up that high all the time. I would have loved a tall 6th gear in the Jetta but I had to make do with 3200 in 5th. On the bright side boost was always available and it felt MUCH better for passing than any F-body, especially those slow LT1s.
