  • Coolant change

My Trans Am is 13years old and has never had the coolant changed. It has 29, 000 miles on it. My question is does it need to be changed because of age, or does it go by mileage?

I would do an entire system flush. Drain block, radiator, etc.

Yes. Yes. Yes. Isn't Dexcool 5 years/100,000 miles?
When in doubt, Whip it out !

The overflow bottle is under the battery tray (and part of it) if you are the same as the Camaros? but that needs to be manually emptied and filled to get all coolant changed.

Change that Dexcool Garbage out of the Car the day you get it home!
                Flush out every drop.

Thanks, I'm taking out of storage this weekend. That's #1 on the to do list.
