If you jump the two wires, you can use any OBD-1 scanner:

I have an actron CP9150, use it for my 94 and my 98..and the 07 suburban. The kit I bought came with about 4-5 different plug ins for different makes of vehicles.

or buy the 80 dollar cable and use a laptop, that's what I did for my 95. Well and played with the tune a bit.

I have a snap on mt2500 and it works well on OBD2 as well as OBD1. I use it on my 1996 Camaro with 1995 powertrain without issue.

I had a innova 3120 and tried the jump technique the scanner still wouldn't pick it up. Im just looking for something under $200 doesn't have to be live data but would be nice

Dose anyone here have one i could just use? I don't feel like spending $249.99 just to pull a trouble code that i got from driving on the freeway. I can stop by where ever anyone lives and if you pull the codes ill buy who ever a 12pk just for doing me the favor
