Last night I went with a buddy of mine to look at a 94 Trans am LT1, just like mine (Stock) but his has a CAI.
For the price he got it for he couldn't pass it up...
I was with him today driving it around and randomly after about 140-160 temp it throws a random SES light. ( Didn't do this during test driving it before purchased ) It'll come on when cruising around 45-50 and then when at a light will turn off randomly.
When he shuts the car off and turns back on it'll stay off for a while and then randomly pops back up
Anyways we took the car to Advanced auto for a free scan but the kid who helped us said "I can't scan it because its a 94" So does anyone know where he can take the car for a free scan?
My guess after researching very little could be egr valve or tune up?
Appreciate any help on this (Feeling bad that he's already having problems)
