  • WHY would this happen??? (Pics inside)

This is my 1995 Camaro with ls1 and 4l60e. Trans is a 05-06 truck 2wd Trans. Around 10,000 miles on it total.

Servo is poped out. The case where the snap ring goes broke right off.

I know. And I kept this car mostly stock to avoid this.

that would have to be a lot of line pressure... It does has a HD2 shift kit. And a 3,800 presicion industries converter. Not that it matters.

Sean at C.A.R.S. put the tune in it. Although its not the right tune for the car.

Yes, do a search on tech/google. Lots of threads about this happening and lots of aftermarket parts that help prevent this from happening.

I've saw it happen due to the snap ring not being seated in all the way, but it happens almost instantly if it's not installed correctly.

Maybe it just me but why does every thread turn in to a bull shit thread who cares who tune the car just because you guys have issues with cars doesn't mean you guys need to bring up the bull shot everytime some one says they have work done with them.

Just out of curiosity are you aware that the transmission tune has just as much bearing on the longevity of the trans as the way its built and the internals? Sean is well known for using as much line pressure as possible and toasting transmissions, mine and many many others included. How is this not relevant?

Again just cause that was your issue n some others doesn't mean it was his problem.... Soon as he said cars and Sean in the same sentence that automatically became the issue
