Livernois has data showing comparison in flow of their CNC 243s against all the leading aftermarket castings and it was right there at the top, FWIW.

AFR's are better for boost, aftermarket castings (thicker deck) than factory castings of any kind. However, NA, probably the 243's.... Boosted, you can just cram your own airflow

thanks guys. i was looking at picking up a smaller more driveable cam and came across a used one
Comp cam for an LS1 for sale. 232/240 at 598/609 114+4.

he used it with the afrs and made 440 rwhp. thats why i was asking which were better. im just thinking to get a hold of patrick g and have him spec me a cam. im coming across cars all day with similar mods as mine with the ls2 and they are more in the area of 480 rwhp. yeah most of them are m6 cars but i should be higher then 430. just cant figure out what to do next. i need a new cam either way. i like the lump of mine but dont necessarily need it. just want something to give me more power and be streetable.

            my current setup consist of

            2006 stock ls2 shortblock
stock 2002 ls6 intake with stock 1998 throttle body
            239/247 .657 112lsa comp cam - ls7 lifters - stock rockers

            pacesetter longtubes - 3" y pipe
            3.73s
tuned by zzp performance (off of tj @ bakers initial tune w 5.7 ls1 and stock heads)

            basically what next?

Keep the 243's - I'd suggest someone else looks at the tune.....just saying.
